Pedifresh foot spray vs. PediFris®

There are many remedies for sweaty feet on the market. Creams, sprays insoles, socks and even electrical devices that claim to reduce perspiration. Take Emma’s pedicare sweaty feet ointment or pedifresh foot spray as an example. In itself, fine remedies for sweaty feet but it does not address the source. This is because only the foot is treated. As a result, the shoe will always cause re-infection, keeping the problem recurring.

PediFresh Spray vs. PediSpray®

The first thing you will notice when comparing the two products is that Pedifresh foot spray is applied via a spray bottle and PediSpray® via a pump spray. The advantage of the pump spray is that the drug is applied in concentrated form. The product is therefore more effective and an additional advantage will be that the vial will last longer than the spray can. In addition, a spray can is more than half filled with propellant and the active agent must be mixed with other products for the spray mechanism to work properly.

Also, applying pedicare ointment is quite a mess. It is a thick sticky substance which gives white rashes on your feet and fingers. After application, the ointment is difficult to remove from the hands making it very unpleasant to use. It is also difficult to remove from the feet. After application, you must wear socks because otherwise you will leave ointment stains everywhere. (So socks on in bed!) This also makes your socks sit below the waist which is very difficult to remove. Not nice for your washing machine.
