Remedy for sweaty feet: spray, powder or deodorant?

With sweaty feet, it is not always clear which product you need. Clammy feet and wet socks result from the skin, whilst odour-causing bacteria and fungi can linger in shoes.

Woman keeps smelly trainers at bay: sweaty feet and shoe odour

The correct choice therefore depends on the location of the problem. Use an antiperspirant on the skin of the feet, PediFris® Classic in shoes, or combine both when sweating and shoe odour occur together.

Which remedy for sweaty feet is right for your needs?

Choose the product based on your main complaint. This way, you treat the skin and shoes at the exact point where the problem arises.

  • Sweaty feet and wet socks. Use a spray for sweaty feet with an antiperspirant effect on the foot skin.

  • Persistent odour in shoes. Use PediFris® Classic as powder for sweaty feet against odour-causing bacteria and fungi in shoes.

  • Sweating and shoe odour. Combine both methods: antiperspirant on the skin and powder in shoes.

How do you use spray and powder for sweaty feet?

Apply the spray to the skin of the feet and sprinkle the powder inside your shoes.

PediSpray® on the skin of the feet

Apply PediSpray® to clean, dry feet. Allow the spray to be absorbed until the skin feels dry before putting on socks. After a single application, the effect can last up to five days.

PediFris® Classic in shoes

Sprinkle PediFris® Classic into the shoes and distribute the powder over the insole and lining. Whilst wearing the shoes, the powder spreads further throughout the shoe, where it tackles odour-causing bacteria and fungi.

Frequently asked questions about remedies for sweaty feet

Brief answers regarding sprays, powders, deodorants and combining treatments.

Is powder or spray more effective against sweaty feet?

That depends on the complaint. Use an antiperspirant spray for excessive sweating on the skin of the feet. Use shoe powder when odour-causing bacteria and fungi keep returning in shoes.

What is the difference between an antiperspirant and a foot deodorant?

An antiperspirant helps to temporarily reduce sweat production on the treated skin. A foot deodorant focuses primarily on freshness and odour control, unless the product also contains an antiperspirant active ingredient.

What remedy do you use for wet feet and socks?

For clammy or wet feet and socks, an antiperspirant for the skin of the feet is recommended. The aluminium salts in PediSpray® help to temporarily reduce perspiration on the treated skin.

What product do you use for odours in shoes?

Use PediFris® Classic in shoes to tackle odour-causing bacteria and fungi. Spread the powder over the insole and lining.

Can you combine powder and antiperspirant?

Yes. Use the antiperspirant on the skin of the feet and the powder in shoes when excessive sweating and shoe odour recur simultaneously.
