Remedy for sweaty feet and smelly shoes

You start the day with clean feet and socks, but your shoes may still smell by the end of the day. Heat and moisture are retained not only on your skin, but also in your socks, insoles and shoes. This provides the ideal environment for bacteria and fungi to cause odours.

Woman keeps smelly trainers at bay: sweaty feet and shoe odour

Do you mainly suffer from smelly feet and shoes? Then PediFris® Classic fits into your daily routine: an effective remedy for sweaty feet, smelly feet and shoes. Simply sprinkle it into your shoes and it works whilst you’re wearing them. The powder disinfects your shoes and feet, combating the bacteria and fungi that cause odours.

Do your feet and socks get wet quickly too? Then combine PediFris® Classic with PediSpray®. This will help reduce excessive sweating on the skin, whilst PediFris® Classic cares for your feet and shoes.

Neutralises foot odour and shoe odour

Woman keeps smelly trainers at a distance due to sweaty feet and shoe odour

Most products designed to combat foot and shoe odour merely mask an unpleasant smell temporarily. PediFris® Classic has been developed to tackle foot and shoe odour at the source. The powder works both inside the shoe and on the foot, precisely in the areas where bacteria and fungi can thrive and cause odour.

Use it in your everyday shoes, work shoes, trainers, safety shoes and slippers.

Ideally, treat all pairs of shoes that you wear regularly. This reduces the likelihood of foot and shoe odour returning after you have worn an untreated pair of shoes.

Also for stubborn odours in old shoes

Treat all your frequently worn shoes and slippers, otherwise you’ll carry the odour over to the next pair.

No dirty fingers from messing about with ointment

PediFris® Classic is quick and easy to use. You don’t need to rub in any ointment, so you won’t end up with sticky or dirty fingers. Sprinkle a small amount of powder into your shoes, spread it around and put your shoes on.

Combat bacteria and fungi

The formula of PediFris® Classic combats bacteria and fungi that contribute to unpleasant odours. The powder is activated by heat and moisture whilst worn and spreads across the insole of your shoe.

Fresh and full of confidence all day long

Foot odour can make you feel self-conscious. You want to be able to take off your shoes without worry at work, whilst exercising or when visiting someone. With PediFris® Classic, you can go about your day comfortably and with confidence.

Decide first: sweat on the skin or odour in your shoes?

Sweating occurs on your skin. Odour and moisture can then linger in socks, insoles and shoes.

Use PediFris® Classic when moisture and odour keep returning, particularly in your footwear.

Do your feet and socks get wet easily? If so, use PediSpray® on the skin to treat excessive sweating.

Always fresh without the mess of ointment

Simply sprinkle PediFris® Classic into your shoe. The product works whilst you’re wearing it.

How to use PediFris® Classic

For best results, use PediFris® Classic as part of your regular foot and shoe care routine:

  1. Wash your feet and dry them thoroughly, including between your toes.

  2. Sprinkle approximately half a teaspoon of PediFris® Classic into each shoe.

  3. Shake the shoes gently from side to side so that the powder spreads evenly over the insole.

  4. Put your shoes on. Heat and moisture activate the powder whilst you’re wearing them.

  5. Use PediFris® Classic daily for the first week.

  6. After that, once a week is usually enough to keep your feet and shoes fresh.

  7. Treat all the shoes you wear regularly, including your sports shoes, work shoes and safety shoes.

In addition, put on clean socks every day. Allow worn shoes to air thoroughly and alternate between pairs regularly, so that each pair has sufficient time to dry.

Why simply washing your feet isn’t enough

Washing removes sweat and dirt from your skin, but does not clean or dry the inside of your shoes. As soon as you step back into damp shoes, the clammy feeling and odour can quickly return.

Look after your feet, wear clean socks and sprinkle PediFris® Classic into dry shoes. Remove any loose insoles from your shoes after wearing them, so that they can dry separately.

Powder in the shoe, foot spray on the skin

PediFris® Classic works both inside your shoes and on your feet, helping to tackle bacteria, fungi and odour. If your feet and socks also get wet quickly, you can combine the powder with PediSpray®.

PediSpray® is used on the skin to reduce excessive sweating. PediFris® Classic is used in your shoes to combat foot and shoe odour. In this way, each product tackles the problem at its source.

Put an end to foot and shoe odour

No temporary odour masking and no messing about with ointments. Sprinkle PediFris® Classic into your shoes and make freshness part of your daily routine.

Neutralise foot odour and shoe odour, combat bacteria and fungi, and go about your day feeling fresh and confident.

Frequently asked questions about remedies for sweaty feet

Brief answers regarding powder in shoes, spray on the skin, socks, insoles and safe use.

Is PediFris® Classic the miracle cure for sweaty feet?

Almost: PediFris® Classic is the antibacterial and disinfectant shoe powder that combats odours lingering in your shoes.

If you sweat a lot, combine it with an antiperspirant such as PediSpray® on dry feet. Classic works inside your shoes and on your feet; PediSpray® helps to reduce excessive sweating on the skin.

What is PediFris® Classic used for?

For shoes that retain odours after you’ve worn them: simply sprinkle the powder into a dry pair and then put them on as normal.

If you sweat a lot, combine it with PediSpray® on dry feet.

Do insoles help with sweaty feet and shoe odour?

Insoles absorb some of the moisture, but do not usually eliminate excessive sweating or the odour in the lining.

Use them as a supplementary measure if necessary, not as the sole treatment.

Can you use PediFris® Classic without socks?

That’s fine, but it’s usually more comfortable with socks: the socks absorb moisture and keep your feet and shoes dry for longer.

Without socks, the powder comes into direct contact with your skin. Take extra care if you have any irritation or cuts.

What should I bear in mind to ensure safe use?

Use externally only and discontinue use if obvious hypersensitivity reactions occur.

  • Do not use on open wounds.
  • If you have diabetes, are unsure whether you have a fungal infection, or are experiencing persistent symptoms: seek advice from your GP or podiatrist.
How do you keep shoes fresh when they have a recurring odour?

Alternate your shoes so that a worn pair can dry out completely before you wear them again.

Sprinkle powder into the dry pair and put on clean socks. If the odour keeps returning when you sweat a lot, treat the skin with an antiperspirant as well.
